EUREKA (OMN) rip2 by Ripley and Company [Second]/Pittsburgh-PA (Company Operated: 1875-1891), 1879 Introduced

• AKA: California State (Welker's); Clear Diagonal Band
NOTE: Sid Lethbridge: A trade quote courtesy Tom Bredehoft from the Crockery and Glass Journal, July 17, 1878 – “Ripley & Co. have stopped for repairs, but will start again early in August. They are getting up several new patterns for next season. One of their novelties is the "Eureka" set. The bowl portion of this set is etched and circled by crystal spiral bands, plain or engraved; the rims are fluted. The effect altogether is very rich and odd.”
