NOTE: Sid Lethbridge: Wilfrid Laurier was the Prime Minister of Canada from 1896 to 1911. He is arguably the greatest PM in our history (note that I am Canadian). Sir Wilfrid Laurier was the first French-Canadian Prime Minister of Canada. He led the Liberal Party to an election win in 1896 and remained in power until 1911. This plate is likely c1897. The photo appears to be the source for the plate.
